As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will maintain residents' rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas. You will also support washing, drying, ironing, labelling, and returning clothing correctly. The role contributes to hygiene, comfort, dignity, and daily wellbeing within specialist dementia and nursing care.
Key Responsibilities: Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
Wash, dry, iron, and return clothing correctly
Label and handle laundry items with care
Follow infection control and housekeeping procedures
Maintain high hygiene and presentation standards
Requirements: Positive and reliable approach to work
Positive attention to detail and organisation
Ability to work independently and within a team
Understanding of hygiene and infection control beneficial
Previous experience welcomed but not essential
