This hands-on Legal Technologist role sits within Blakes’ Innovation department. You will develop automated workflows, backend applications, and legal technology infrastructure. The work includes AI-assisted document analysis, contract review, legal research tools, and modern service delivery platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain APIs, integrations, and internal legal technology tooling
Develop workflow automations and applications eliminating repetitive manual tasks
Prototype and deploy AI-assisted legal applications
Build data pipelines, dashboards, and documented data models




Troubleshoot software issues with vendors and internal stakeholders
Requirements: University degree in computer science or related technical discipline
Hands-on API or backend application development experience
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and web services
SQL database and query experience supporting reporting or integrations
Git familiarity and explicit technical communication skills
