This permanent Field Producer position supports daily newsgathering and production for French Services. You will produce investigative reports, breaking news and special projects, adapting stories for digital, social and broadcast audiences. The role combines creative planning, editorial leadership, technical coordination and hands-on production.
Key Responsibilities: Conceive and produce news reports and features
Guide editorial teams on story structure and visual treatment
Develop formats for digital and linear platforms
Direct or perform video editing and sound mixing
Coordinate crews, contributors and technical resources
Requirements: Relevant university degree or college diploma
Five years of relevant media experience
Three years producing news content in the field
Excellent spoken and written French
Ability to manage breaking news and multiple projects
Bring French journalism expertise, digital storytelling knowledge and production leadership to CBC/Radio-Canada’s Montreal newsroom.
