Lead physical security design authority for EdgeConneX data centers, shaping access control and surveillance standards across a global portfolio.
As Principal, Security Design, you will own the Physical Security Baseline, design standards, templates, and exception process. You will guide recent builds, expansions, and customer-specific projects for major cloud and enterprise customers. The work spans design approval, integrator submittals, compliance, and commissioning traceability.
Key Responsibilities: Own physical security baselines, standards, specifications, and templates
Approve project designs, layouts, and above-baseline requirements
Lead complex customer-specific physical security designs
Manage risk-based exceptions, deviations, and record-keeping
Report compliance,



conformance, and exception trends to leadership
Requirements: Minimum eight years in physical security design or engineering
At least four years setting standards or leading designs
Expertise in critical infrastructure physical security systems
Enterprise access control and video management platform knowledge
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Apply physical security design leadership, technical standards expertise, and structured judgment across EdgeConneX’s global data center portfolio.
