This Technical Program Manager supports Recent Business and Underwriting initiatives from planning through evaluation. The work involves Agile, SDLC, integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and regulated operations. You will turn priorities into executable roadmaps while coordinating product, engineering, architecture, data, quality, risk, operations, and vendor stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Lead initiatives across planning, execution, launch, stabilization, and evaluation
Manage scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, testing, and release readiness
Coordinate technology delivery across insurance application journeys




Identify technical risks and support architecture alignment
Promote cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment
Requirements: Three to five years of technical program management experience
At least three years delivering life insurance technology solutions
Direct New Business and Underwriting experience
Experience with Agile, SDLC, modernization, integrations, APIs, and data pipelines
Strong communication and influence without direct authority
Bring life insurance delivery, underwriting, Agile, and stakeholder leadership expertise to Manulife’s Toronto technology initiatives.
