Serve meals and maintain dining spaces as a casual Bus Person at The Salvation Army’s Vancouver Harbour Light. Weekend availability is required.

This Bus Person role supports meal service, eating-area preparation, and cleanliness in a residential social services facility. You will set tables, serve meals, handle dishes, and maintain kitchen and dining-room areas. The position may include preparing simple foods, helping cooks with ingredients, and supporting catering delivery within Vancouver Harbour Light.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set tables, serve meals, and prepare dining rooms
- Handle food according to Food Protected standards
- Clean kitchen and dining-room surfaces and equipment
- Dispose of food waste according to regulations
- Sort donations and deliveries as assigned

Requirements:

- High school completion
- Six months of related experience, including institutional kitchen experience
- Weekend availability for casual, on-call shifts
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted
- FoodSafe, WHMIS, First Aid with CPR, and related training or willingness
