Lead donor cultivation and stewardship for BC Cancer Foundation’s Fraser Region portfolio, using relationship building and fundraising expertise across British Columbia.

As Development Officer on the Discovery Circle team, you will manage 250-plus mid-level prospects and donors. You will cultivate gifts from $1,000 to $25,000, identify growth opportunities, and coordinate with corporate relations, community giving, major gifts, and gift and estate planning. The work supports fundraising priorities for BC Cancer and requires collaboration with Foundation staff, regional teams, and institutional partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cultivate, secure, and steward Discovery Circle gifts
- Manage relationships with donors, volunteers, and senior partners




- Identify donor growth and increased involvement opportunities
- Maintain accurate prospect and donor records in Raiser's Edge
- Represent the Foundation at meetings and functions

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in a related field
- Three years of fundraising or donor relations experience
- Demonstrated ability to secure mid-level gifts
- Valid driver's licence and regular vehicle access
- Ability to travel throughout the Fraser Region
