As a Controls Estimator II, you will provide estimates and quotes for building owners while assisting Account Managers with competitive bids. Your work includes scope definition, purchased equipment pricing, subcontractor quotations, and project cost review. The schedule is onsite Monday through Thursday, with Fridays offering a choice of work location based on requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Review design-build scopes, plans, and competitive bidding specifications
Define project scope, exceptions, exclusions, and preliminary proposals
Price purchased equipment by size, voltage, options, and configuration




Hold pre-bid meetings with Account Managers about strategy
Validate labor, material, and electrical subcontract costs
Requirements: Engineering or related degree, or equivalent relevant experience
Three to five years’ estimating, engineering, or construction experience
Five to seven years’ controls field experience accepted
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize detailed work
Use HVAC Controls, estimating, and construction expertise to shape accurate Trane project bids for building owners.
