Transam Carriers operates more than 140 trucks across Canada and the U.S. This City Dispatcher takes over afternoon operations, manages late-day deliveries, and coordinates linehaul traffic. The position also plans the next morning’s city work and maintains accurate records.
Key Responsibilities: Take over afternoon operations from the morning dispatcher
Coordinate late-day deliveries and linehaul truck movements
Plan next morning’s city work and assignments
Track drivers in real time using Samsara
Record trips, hours, detention, and handover notes
Requirements: At least two years of dispatch experience
Local or city pickup and delivery experience preferred
Strong knowledge of GTA roads and terminals
Experience with TMS and ELD or telematics systems
Calm, independent, reliable approach; second language an asset
