Bring sewing expertise and customer service skills to David’s Bridal as an Alterations Specialist supporting fittings, alterations, and dress customization.
Alterations Specialists complete fittings and garment alterations while reporting to the Store Manager. The work combines technical sewing, steaming, pressing, spot cleaning, computerized systems, and customer communication. Specialists also support stylists, promote alteration services, and help deliver the David’s Bridal brand experience.
Key Responsibilities: Complete fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning
Inspect altered garments before final customer delivery
Consult customers about gown fit and customization
Promote alteration services and personalization options
Maintain a clean, organized alterations room
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent degree
One to two years of apparel retail experience
Prior sewing experience required
Bridal or special occasion production experience preferred
Computerized POS experience is a plus
Use sewing, fitting, garment care, and customer consultation skills to support memorable dress experiences at David’s Bridal.
