Key Responsibilities: Coordinate total nursing care for assigned psychiatric patients
Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care
Apply recovery principles with patients and families
Maintain professional nursing practice standards
Support safety for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Psychiatric Nursing post-diploma preferred
Three years’ mental health nursing experience preferred
Code white and de-escalation training
Basic Rescuer CPR certification
Bring mental health knowledge, communication, and collaborative nursing practice to inpatient psychiatry at WRHN @ Midtown in Waterloo.
