PACE.global is a boutique change management and digital transformation consultancy. We blend advisory, training, and technology enablement to help organizations adopt new ways of working and embed lasting change. Our clients include large enterprises and federal programs where structure, security, and follow-through matter.
We deliver on a fixed-fee model, so every engagement is won or lost on whether we deliver what we committed to, on the date we committed to. We are growing quickly, and we are building the delivery systems and team to scale on.
The Role As Project Manager, you will own the delivery rhythm, commitments, risk picture, and engagement records from inside our delivery team. Your work frees our Strategic Transformation Associates and Leads to spend their time on client advice and deliverable content, and ensures PACE.global delivers what it committed to, on the date it committed to.
You will set up and run the operating cadence of each assigned engagement, hold owners to their dates, see risks before they become issues, and keep every plan, log, and tracker current without anyone having to ask. When a Lead has to chase a follow-up or book a meeting themselves, that is a gap you close.
You will report into Delivery Operations and work closely with our Strategic Transformation Leads and Associates, our delivery leadership, and client stakeholders across multiple engagements.
You’ll be Responsible For Delivery Rhythm and Governance
Putting the integrated project plan, calendar, governance meetings, and workshops in place before delivery begins on every assigned engagement.
Running that cadence yourself, so no Change Lead or leader has to organize it.
Planning and running every engagement meeting you coordinate, and capturing its outputs.
Commitment Assurance
Making sure every commitment to a client or inside the delivery team lands on the date promised.
Establishing clear ownership, surfacing blockers, and making sure owners know what they have to do by when.
Keeping due dates visible and resetting them in advance when they need to move.
Owning the production view of every milestone deliverable: its components, why each exists and how it fits the whole, who is contributing, by when, and how complete it is.
Routing inputs into the deliverable production pipeline from the moment work starts.
Risk and Scope Visibility
Surfacing scope drift, resource constraints, and delivery risks inside the delivery team early.
Validating every identified risk and logging it in the register the same day, with an owner and a next step.
Engagement Information Integrity
Keeping the plan, action log, risk register, deliverable tracker, stakeholder records, and deliverable folders current.
Sending status reporting on the agreed rhythm.
Project Management Standard
Following PACE.global’s documented Ways of Working and using the corresponding template for every project deliverable.
Building each new engagement from that standard: reviewing scope, tracing deliverables to the agreed scope, and verifying source materials are current before delivery starts.
What Success Looks Like No commitment on your engagements passes its due date without having been reset beforehand.
No issue surprises the team: every issue that hits was already in the risk register as a risk.
Strategic Transformation Leads no longer handle scheduling, logistics, follow-ups, or tracking on your engagements.
Every engagement runs on a cadence that was in place before delivery started, and every meeting you coordinate has clear outputs captured.
Anyone can open an engagement’s plan, logs, trackers, or folders and trust that what they see is current.
Leads and clients describe you as the person who keeps the work on track, raises problems early, and tells them what they need to hear.
What We’re Looking For 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in consulting, professional services, or transformation programs with multiple concurrent engagements.
Integrity you will not trade away. You report the real status, not the comfortable one, and you earn the trust of the people you work with.
The assertiveness to hold senior colleagues and clients to their dates and priorities, tactfully and without backing down.
Tenacity. You keep pushing until the commitment lands, and you have a track record of not giving up.
Strong analytical skills. You can sort signal from noise, find the root cause of a slipping date, and spot a risk before it becomes an issue.
Resourcefulness.
You find a way over, around, or through blockers, even when resources are thin.
High standards for yourself and others, and a low tolerance for stale trackers, missed follow-ups, or meetings without outcomes.
Excellent planning and organization, and the ability to run focused, effective meetings and workshops.
Transparent, exact, well-organized writing for status reports, action logs, and client-facing updates.
Fluency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel) and a work management platform such as Wrike, and practical, everyday use of AI tools to plan, track, and report faster.
Preferred Qualifications PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
Experience on change management or digital transformation engagements.
Experience working with federal government clients, and eligibility to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance.
How We Work Our values shape how we deliver for clients and how we work with each other:
Curiosity. We get curious about how work really flows, where decisions are made, and how technology is actually used.
Clarity. We design ways of working around reality, not aspiration, and we name the friction, risk, and rework we find.
Candor. We say what needs to be said with respect and care, and stay open to other valid viewpoints.
Commitment. We follow through on what we promise, or reset expectations when we need to.
Why Join PACE.global At PACE.global, you will be the reason our engagements land on time, with real influence over how we deliver as we scale.
Other reasons to join our team:
Own the delivery rhythm of client engagements end to end, not just a slice of them.
Work alongside experienced change and transformation consultants on high-impact enterprise and federal programs.
Help shape how PACE.global runs projects as our Ways of Working mature.
Work with a focused, experienced team that values clarity, action, and results.
Flexible, remote-first work environment.
