Support Fidelity Investments Canada’s asset management business with legal advice, regulatory analysis, and commercial agreement negotiation.
As Legal Counsel, you will provide legal services enabling Fidelity to develop investment products, establish relationships, and maintain business activities. The position covers mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, alternative investments, distribution arrangements, and other services. Work is based at 483 Bay Street in Toronto before an anticipated move to Mississauga.
Key Responsibilities: Support mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments
Monitor developments affecting the asset management industry
Maintain disclosure documents for investment products
Identify legal risks and develop practical business solutions




Build relationships with Product, Marketing, Compliance, Risk, and Fund Accounting
Requirements: Four years post-call securities, investment funds, or asset management experience
Canadian law society membership in positive standing
Knowledge of corporate and securities law
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bring asset management law, regulatory knowledge, and stakeholder-management skills to Fidelity Investments Canada’s Legal Department.
