The Transformer Engineer supports sales, operations, and engineering teams across distribution, power, and special-purpose transformers. You will prepare technical documentation, interpret specifications, and develop designs aligned with CSA, IEEE, and customer requirements. The role also supports testing, quality assurance, and continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Design oil-filled distribution and power transformers
Perform electrical calculations and prepare design documentation
Review customer specifications and project requirements




Analyze testing data and troubleshoot deviations
Support factory acceptance testing and inspections
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Eight to ten years of transformer design experience
Knowledge of single and three-phase oil-filled transformers
Proficiency with transformer testing methodologies
Knowledge of CSA, IEEE, UL, and NETA standards
