Apply decisive credit analysis to private infrastructure investments at BCI, based in Victoria, British Columbia, with global deal teams.
This Senior Principal role evaluates and manages private credit transactions and external fund relationships for BCI's Infrastructure & Renewable Resources team. You will lead research, diligence, execution, and monitoring across infrastructure investments. The work requires sound judgment, financial modeling, project leadership, and effective collaboration with internal groups and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities: Originate opportunities through existing and current external relationships
Write screening, deal alert, and investment memorandums
Deliver persuasive recommendations to the Investment Committee
Coordinate advisors, Legal, Tax, Risk,



and deal stakeholders
Approve capital calls and distributions for assigned investments
Requirements: Seven to ten years' experience in private debt or related fields
Ability to form and defend independent credit opinions
Project and people management experience
Ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities
Relevant undergraduate or graduate university degree
Bring private credit execution, independent judgment, and infrastructure investment experience to BCI's Victoria-based investment team.
