Bird seeks an HSE Coordinator for Buildings East, responsible for administering the Bird Safety Program and monitoring assigned project compliance. The position requires construction safety experience, worker orientations, inspections, and safety documentation. You will also support project startup and the Company’s COR program.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accident, incident, violation, and safety compliance records
- Assist project planning and startup regarding safety issues
- Conduct worker orientations, safety meetings, and toolbox talks




- Monitor workers and subcontractors through regular site inspections
- Document deficiencies, investigations, remedial actions, and resolutions

Requirements:

- At least five years of field safety experience
- Construction Safety Officer CHSO or NCSO certification required
- Construction workplace experience preferred
- Relevant post-secondary HSE education considered an asset
- Knowledge of construction health and safety legislation and standards
