Apply electrical assembly and testing skills at AAG in Waterdown, Ontario, building components for CNC Router Machines and Knife Systems.

The Electrical Technician assembles, wires, and tests components at AAG’s factory. The work covers electrical panels, pumps, blowers, tables, options, sub-components, final assembly, and quality assurance. You will interpret work orders, blueprints, specifications, and electrical or pneumatic schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble and manufacture electrical panels for machine systems
- Cut wires and crimp terminal eyelets and lugs
- Connect wiring to relays, plugs, switches, and solenoids
- Install accessory assemblies using soldering guns and hand tools
- Conduct functional and continuity tests with electrical instruments

Requirements:

- Related post-secondary electrical technician or technologist diploma
- Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Robust computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Electrical aptitude with attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds
