Mechanical engineering specialists can design building systems at INVIRO’s on-site Gloucester office, using HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection expertise. This full time role requires a P.Eng.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support industrial, commercial, and institutional building projects. Your work includes load calculations, schematics, equipment selection, specifications, and system concept reports. You will also manage projects through construction while addressing codes, standards, ASHRAE, and LEED requirements where applicable.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare designs, load calculations, schematics, and system concept reports
Select equipment for mechanical building systems
Prepare contract documents and project specifications




Review shop drawings and approve design changes
Manage projects from design through construction
Requirements: Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
Professional Engineering designation required
Six or more years in building Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Knowledge of Canadian and Ontario Building Codes
