The Director of Quality – Transit leads Quality across Current Flyer Transit manufacturing operations. This senior leader sets direction, develops capable teams, and addresses issues affecting customers and business performance. The role spans quality strategy, performance reviews, risk management, corrective action, customer response, supplier quality, and launch readiness.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out Transit quality strategy, goals, priorities, and resource plans
Lead plant Quality Managers and ensure consistent execution
Improve the Transit Quality Management System and support ISO 9001
Escalate significant product, regulatory,



and safety concerns
Coordinate customer, supplier, and cross-functional quality responses
Requirements: Quality leadership experience across manufacturing operations
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001
Ability to develop teams, staffing, and succession plans
Experience with containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective action
Ability to follow safety, legal, regulatory, and internal-control requirements
Apply quality strategy, risk management, corrective action, and team leadership across New Flyer Transit manufacturing operations.
