The Plant Manager supports the Vice President, Supply Chain and participates in the Supply Chain Leadership Team. You balance conversion costs, inventory carrying costs, and service levels with Planning partners. Your scope includes manufacturing operations, quality, expense management, compliance, budgets, labour relations, and plant performance.
Key Responsibilities: Balance conversion cost, inventory cost, and service levels
Partner with Inventory and Demand Planning management
Execute plant manufacturing objectives and operating budgets
Manage industrial and labour relations across team members




Partner with Planning, Distribution, Engineering, and Facilities teams
Requirements: Six or more years in supply chain management
Production planning and demand-supply balancing experience
Materials, inventory planning, and master scheduling experience
Project controls and management of change knowledge
Budget building and key performance indicator understanding
Apply supply chain expertise to Wakefield Canada’s plant operations, inventory planning, service levels, and cross-functional manufacturing performance.
