Support wastewater construction as a Level II Labourer in Brighton, Ontario, using excavation, equipment operation, and site preparation skills. Work on NAC’s Wastewater Treatment Plant project.

Reporting to the Civil Superintendent, this role performs physical labour across heavy construction activities. Duties include preparing work areas, digging trenches, placing materials, assisting with formwork, and supporting tradespeople. The position contributes to projects from preparation through completion while maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess work sites and identify potential hazards daily
- Prepare excavation areas by determining slopes and elevations
- Excavate trenches manually or with equipment




- Place materials accurately according to drawings
- Backfill trenches and complete site cleanup

Requirements:

- Previous construction or cleaning experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Knowledge of power tool operation and workplace safety
- Valid WHMIS and Working at Heights training
