Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, the Laundry Aide handles linens and personal clothing from intake through delivery. You will follow washing instructions, separate loads, identify repairs, and keep laundry areas orderly. The position emphasizes person centered service, safety, workplace, quality management, and infection control.
Key Responsibilities: Separate soiled linens according to treatment instructions
Sort personal clothing for repairs or ironing
Fold laundry and deliver items to designated units
Clean machines, floors, and laundry areas




Follow department policies for safety and infection control
Requirements: Ability to follow written and oral operating instructions
Understanding of washer and dryer functions
Knowledge of laundry chemicals used during processing
Ability to create positive social interactions with residents
Current screening, TB results, and three supervisory references
Use dependable laundry care and meaningful resident interaction to support person centered services at Eatonville Care Centre.
