Support patients at Hythe Continuing Care Centre as a Health Care Aide, assisting daily living, routine care, and patient safety needs. This temporary part-time role includes rotating days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Working with Assisted Living Alberta, you will support patients, residents, or clients across continuing care. Under regulated health professional supervision, you will follow care plans, assist nurses, and communicate with families and caregivers. Your work will address hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nurses with routine patient care needs
Support hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety
Observe and report patient mood,



health, and wellbeing
Maintain secure environments for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements: Active or eligible CLHA registration or practice permit
Health Care Aide education proof or certificate completion
Complete certificate requirements within eighteen months of hire
Satisfactory criminal record or Vulnerable Sector Search
Bring Health Care Aide certification, patient support, and communication skills to Hythe Continuing Care Centre’s multidisciplinary care team.
