This Truck Driver position involves transporting goods and materials with straight or articulated trucks. You will load and unload cargo, communicate with central dispatch, and maintain required transportation records. The work is physical, includes heights and repetitive tasks, and requires English communication.
Key Responsibilities: Operate straight or articulated trucks for short-haul transportation
Load, unload, tarp, and secure cargo safely
Inspect vehicles, tires, lights, brakes, and equipment
Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Record cargo, hours, distance, and fuel consumption
Requirements: Class 3/3F/DF Licence and Air Brakes Endorsement
Valid driver's licence with acceptable driving record
Ability to handle loads exceeding 45 kilograms
Steel-toed safety boots and physical capability
Bondable with required security and drug checks
