The assignment may include regular or self-contained classrooms and can change according to student needs. You will assist with student programs, learning materials, personal care, and independence development.
Key Responsibilities: Assist students with lifting, toileting, feeding, and catheterization
Support behavior, self-regulation, academic, and socio-emotional needs
Implement Individual Education and Behavior & Safety Plans
Track student behavior as directed by the Behavior Counsellor




Participate in student swimming programs and riders' aide duties
Requirements: Community college diploma in a related discipline
Experience supporting students or special needs in education preferred
Behavior Management Systems and First Aid certification preferred
Ability to implement Applied Behavior Analysis strategies
Knowledge of accommodations, modifications, and de-escalation strategies
