Financial reporting and variance analysis define this MLSE Accountant role, supporting food and beverage operations through accurate, actionable financial insight.
You will serve as a Finance partner across restaurants, hospitality, concessions, clubs, and event-based service. The Accountant role combines month-end accounting with analysis of revenue, food and beverage costs, gross margin, labour, inventory usage, waste, and operating expenses. You will collaborate with Finance, FP&A;, Procurement, Operations, and other teams.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze monthly results, operating activity, trends, and variances
Prepare reporting commentary linking results with operational performance
Support budgeting and forecasting with historical accounting insights




Maintain balance sheet governance through reconciliations and analysis
Strengthen controls around revenue, cash, inventory, and expenses
Requirements: Three or more years managing month-end activities and financial analysis
Solid practical knowledge of revenue, expense, inventory, and accrual accounting
Advanced Excel proficiency; Oracle Cloud ERP experience is an asset
Ability to explain financial concepts to operational stakeholders
Ability to manage priorities and strict deadlines accurately
Use financial analysis, reporting, and accounting fundamentals to clarify performance across MLSE’s food and beverage business.
