Support protected, clean public spaces as an Urban Ranger with The Bentway’s Facilities team during the winter season. Work outdoors, stay active, and serve visitors.
This fixed-term contract supports operations at The Bentway site and skate trail. You will complete janitorial work, grounds keeping, basic maintenance, and event support. The role also includes visitor service, hazard awareness, incident recording, and required health and safety training.
Key Responsibilities: Sweep, mop, sanitize washrooms, collect litter, and empty receptacles
Assist supervised repairs, installations, landscaping, and general maintenance
Clear snow, maintain pathways, and clean tools and equipment
Support event setup, teardown, and visitor customer service
Record safety concerns,



assist first aid, and call emergency services
Requirements: Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied weather
Ability to perform frequent physical movements and outdoor tasks
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
Commitment to safety protocols and required training
Team communication skills; Standard First Aid is an asset
Bring physical work, facilities maintenance, grounds keeping, and visitor service skills to The Bentway’s winter operations team.
