MRP planning and material control define this Material Planner prospect with Napoleon, supporting production and sales requirements in manufacturing.
Reporting to the Material Planning Manager, the Material Planner manages purchased components, raw materials, and outside services for a specific division. The position maintains MRP parameters, inventory control, and service levels while processing purchase orders and forecasts. Experience with ERP or MRP software, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook supports daily planning activities.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of materials supporting divisional production demand
Maintain MRP parameters, service levels, and inventory control
Issue vendor forecasts and daily purchase orders
Confirm deliveries, receipts,



and purchase order completion
Resolve urgent requirements, discrepancies, and vendor material rejects
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
One to two years material control or supply chain experience preferred
Volume manufacturing experience; assembly production is an asset
ERP or MRP software experience; Dynamics 365 is an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Use MRP analysis, purchase order processing, and vendor communication to support Napoleon’s manufacturing material requirements.
