This Legal Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and practice support within a litigation environment. The position coordinates discoveries, mediations, hearings, and meetings while maintaining organized files and records. It also supports lawyer dockets, accounts, billing administration, and communications with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare pleadings, motion materials, affidavits, and correspondence
Schedule discoveries, mediations, hearings, and litigation meetings
Coordinate communications with clients and external stakeholders




Open and maintain client files and records
Assist accounts, billing, dockets, and financial administration
Requirements: Five to ten-plus years supporting litigation practices
Post-secondary legal administration or related diploma preferred
Understanding of Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure
Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines
Professional communication and exceptional attention to detail
