Operate snow-clearing equipment for Gelderman Landscape Services in Waterdown, Ontario, using plow trucks, salt trucks, skid steers, and loaders.
This temporary winter position supports Gelderman’s winter maintenance contracts through April 3, 2027. Operators clear local roads and parking lots, make snow and ice control decisions, and provide traffic control. Previous snow removal or heavy equipment experience is recommended for this work.
Key Responsibilities: Operate skid steers, plow trucks, salt trucks, and loaders safely
Transparent local roads and parking lots according to contract requirements
Make snow and ice control decisions during winter events
Set up and remove traffic control signs
Maintain hours, fuel, incident, timesheet, diary, and log records
Requirements: G license with a clean driver’s abstract
Previous snow-clearing equipment experience
Open availability and short-notice reporting capability
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
Willingness to drive and work in extreme weather
Bring equipment operation, winter judgment, and accurate documentation skills to Gelderman’s Waterdown snow-clearing contracts this season.
