Sanajiksanut is a trainee prospect involving a 42-day program across three rotations at the Meadowbank Complex. You will attend classroom and field training for the Underground Haul Truck Training Program. The position develops equipment operation, workplace inspection, and underground safety practices.
Key Responsibilities: Attend 42-day training across three Meadowbank Complex rotations
Complete classroom and field training requirements
Learn to operate 30T underground haul truck equipment
Follow trainer instructions throughout training activities
Inspect equipment and working environments daily
Requirements: Nunavut class 5 driver’s license or equivalent
Class 3 driver’s license considered an asset
Approval to work underground from Canadian Explosives Regulatory Division
Willingness to learn and strong work ethic
English communication skills and Nunavut Inuit Beneficiary status
Develop underground haul truck, inspection, and safety skills through Agnico Eagle’s Meadowbank Complex training program.
