Deliver skilled nursing practice as a part time Registered Nurse with Extendicare, guided by established standards, physicians’ orders, and care policies.
This Registered Nurse supports resident and patient care in a long-term care setting. You will assess and monitor residents, develop and evaluate care plans, and oversee assigned nursing and personal care staff. The position requires current provincial certification, registration eligibility, and previous community or long-term care experience.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure resident and patient care follows nursing standards
Assist with assessments, monitoring, and care plan evaluations
Manage nursing and personal care staff assignments
Conduct performance appraisals and refer concerns appropriately




Direct nursing services when the Director of Care is absent
Requirements: Hold a current provincial certificate of competence
Be registered or eligible with the provincial qualified institution
Bring previous community or long-term care experience
Prioritize urgent tasks independently and collaboratively
Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills
Apply registered nursing expertise, care planning, supervision, and communication skills within Extendicare’s long-term care practice.
