Registered Practical Nurses at Berkshire Care Centre coordinate resident-focused care using clinical assessment, medication administration, and compassionate communication in Windsor, Ontario.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this Registered Practical Nurse coordinates and oversees care delivery while promoting the Home’s values, goals, and philosophy. The position develops care plans, supervises Personal Support Workers, communicates with families and interdisciplinary teams, and responds to changing resident health statuses.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and modify individualized resident care plans
Administer medications and treatments according to standards
Supervise, assign, and evaluate Personal Support Worker duties
Assess health changes and communicate required updates




Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Requirements: Current Ontario nursing registration or equivalent Canadian authorization
RAI-MDS AIS certification, or completion within one year
Well-developed written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with interdisciplinary team members
Explicit vulnerable sector screen, recent TB test, and three supervisory references
Support resident care at Berkshire Care Centre through clinical leadership, accurate documentation, and meaningful daily interactions in Windsor.
