Serve Brandon University customers as a part-time Food Services Worker, using cashier skills and careful food handling during weekend operations.
As part of the Brandon University Food Service team, you will uphold quality and service standards set by the Food Services Manager and Executive Chef. You will support daily operations through cashier duties, food preparation, station maintenance, catering setup, cleaning, and break coverage. This term position runs until August 31, 2027.
Key Responsibilities: Perform cashier duties during food service operations
Stock the BU Fresh cooler, shelves, and coolers
Prepare parfaits and fruit cups using fresh fruit
Maintain soup and toast stations
Set up catering functions and complete cleaning duties
Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent and related food handling experience
Excellent customer service and cashier experience
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals
Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms
Secure Food Handling course required
Bring customer service, cashier, food handling, and cleaning skills to Brandon University’s weekend food service operations.
