NTEC seeks a Support Worker for its Regional Respite Program. You will help children maintain quality of life while supporting their health, welfare, safety, and happiness. The part time position reports to the Supervisor, Children's Services.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise recreation and leisure activities
Support personal hygiene, nutrition, outings, and social skills
Provide emotional support as needed
Administer and safely store medication
Prepare nutritious meals and complete household tasks
Requirements: Related college diploma or post-secondary equivalent
Six months working with children with special needs
First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training or willingness to obtain
Valid Class G licence and satisfactory screening checks
Bring compassionate support, communication, and safety practices to NTEC's children's respite services in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
