Our client, a well-established Quebec company, is seeking a lawyer or notary with at least 5 years of experience in business law to join its legal team

Reporting to the Vice-President - Legal and Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Secretary, you will play a key advisory role for the company's various departments and business partners. You will be involved in a wide range of matters, including commercial contracts, transactions, financing and real estate.

Your Role
You will advise the company's various teams and contribute to a broad range of legal matters. Your responsibilities will include:

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements, including financing, supply and intellectual property agreements

Advising and supporting the business development team in connection with acquisition transactions

Participating in transactions involving the sale and leasing of real estate

Drafting and reviewing offers to lease, leases, renewals, amendments, relocations and assignments

Managing leases and conducting title searches in the land registry

Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the company's activities

Preparing and providing legal opinions





Collaborating with various departments on their projects and legal matters

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in law

Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business law and contract drafting

Strong drafting skills and excellent command of French

Good command of English, both written and spoken

Knowledge of the Pharmacy Act considered a significant asset

Solid autonomy, attention to detail and sound judgment

Ability to manage multiple files and priorities simultaneously

Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong client-service approach

Ability to develop practical solutions tailored to business needs
