As a Construction Technologist with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors, you will support highway and geotechnical projects. Your work includes reviewing designs, tenders, planning studies, consultant proposals, and construction administration. You will help deliver projects safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within scope while applying departmental standards, regulations, and policies.
Key Responsibilities: Review designs, tenders, planning studies, and consultant proposals
Plan and prioritize the Peace Region geotechnical program
Conduct weekly inspections of construction progress
Review reports, estimates, expenditures,



and contract final details
Coordinate project implementation with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements: Related technical diploma supplemented by six years’ related experience
Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License
Construction or geotechnical engineering experience considered an asset
Knowledge of highway planning, design, specifications, and construction processes
Solid communication, organizational, and time management skills
Support Alberta’s transportation network through highway construction administration, geotechnical planning, inspections, and technical coordination.
