Description RPN provides the following services for DIABETES patients ONLY:
Risk evaluation of patient developing feet complications
Feet care (evaluation of feet condition, nails maintenance, calluses and corn removal, etc.)
Diabetes and feet care education, which includes awareness of personal risk factors, importance having feet inspected annually by a health care professional, daily self-inspection of feet, proper nail and skin care, injury prevention, and when to seek help etc.
PERMANENT PART-TIME POSITION 0.4 FTE
Current Schedule: Days shifts, between Monday and Friday
What we are looking for




Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
College level courses in specialized foot care
Experience in foot Care
2 years of experience in patient care
Current C.P.R. certification
Good assessment skills
Demonstrate autonomy in their work
Possess a working knowledge of both official languages
