The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth seeks a transformational nonprofit CEO. This leader will guide strategic development, organizational change, financial management, and stakeholder engagement while advancing services for animals and people. The organization operates Animal Centres in Kitchener and Stratford.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead major organizational change with a business mindset
- Execute strategy and measure success through key performance indicators
- Manage staff, volunteers, budgets, and organizational results
- Represent the organization with municipalities, officials, and media




- Report to and work with a volunteer Board of Directors

Requirements:

- Minimum five years CEO-level leadership in a similar-sized nonprofit
- Strategic, operational, business, and financial management experience
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders, donors, cities, and municipalities
- Knowledge of risk assessment, management, and mitigation
- Relevant university degree or commensurate experience
