Support climate business development at Vancity through research and coordination in a full-time hybrid position based at Vancouver head office. Translate climate insights into practical action.

As an Associate, Climate, you will support Vancity’s Climate Action Plan while reporting to the Director, Climate Strategy & Performance. Your work will connect climate opportunities, member needs, partner activity, and sustainable finance practices. You will coordinate across Business and Commercial, Product, Innovation, Marketing, and Impact Strategy. Clear communication will help varied audiences understand climate opportunities, supports, and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate climate workplans, trackers, timelines, notes, and follow-ups
- Research climate opportunities, member needs, policies, incentives, and market examples
- Support pilots, partnerships, workshops,



and working groups
- Prepare briefing notes, presentations, FAQs, and member summaries
- Maintain documentation, calendars, referral pathways, and process guides

Requirements:

- Experience supporting projects, research, initiatives, or program implementation
- Strong research, analytical, coordination, and organizational skills
- Excellent writing for varied audiences and plain-language materials
- Robust collaboration skills across internal teams and external partners
- Climate action or sustainable finance knowledge preferred
