As a Mortgage Specialist, you will manage referral and origination sources while developing home financing business. You will create partnerships, participate in community events, and identify cross-sell opportunities. Customers receive guidance throughout applications, processing, documentation, and issue resolution while BMO policies and regulations remain central.
Key Responsibilities: Contact referral sources about home financing solutions
Expand networks through referrals from existing relationships
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and related events




Serve as customer advocate during application and processing
Resolve or escalate issues for timely fund advancement
Requirements: Three to five years of relevant experience typically expected
Degree in a related field or equivalent background
Robust interpersonal, sales, negotiation, and influence skills
Knowledge of mortgage markets and real estate industry
Knowledge of personal lending and relationship management
Apply relationship management, mortgage market knowledge, and negotiation skills while helping BMO customers complete home financing.
