Southern Health-Santé Sud seeks a temporary Health Care Aide for its Nursing department. The in-person position supports residents and patients with Activities of Daily Living according to care plans, established standards, and legislative requirements. This work requires organization, communication, confidentiality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities: Support residents and patients with Activities of Daily Living
Follow care plans and established standards of practice
Work under Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse direction




Determine work priorities and methods using independent judgment
Maintain competency through education and certifications
Requirements: Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program
Minimum Grade 12 education
Current Basic Life Support certification for Acute Care
One to two years’ health care experience preferred
Ability to organize workload and communicate effectively
Bring Health Care Aide certification, person-centered care, and dependable communication to Southern Health-Santé Sud in Manitou.
