Mississauga-Oakville Emergency & Specialty Hospital is welcoming an RVT to its Emergency department. The role includes patient care, clinical procedures, diagnostics, and surgical support. You will work alongside a collaborative, mentoring emergency department team while serving pets requiring urgent attention.
Key Responsibilities: Perform physical assessments and monitor vital signs
Support emergency triage and patient stabilization
Monitor induction, maintenance, and post-operative recovery
Place catheters, collect samples, and run laboratory tests




Prepare surgical suites and assist emergency procedures
Requirements: Veterinary Technician Diploma or Animal Health Technician program completion
Eligibility for registration in the applicable province
Knowledge of patient care, anesthesia, pharmacology, and clinical procedures
Confident venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory skills
Ability to safely handle and restrain animals
