Providence Living seeks a regular part time Resident Support Attendant for Central City Lodge. Under general supervision, you will support residents with complex health and cognitive needs, monitor behaviour, and contribute to care planning. The work reflects cultural safety, humility, anti-racism, respect, excellence, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor residents and respond to escalating behaviour safely
Build therapeutic relationships with residents and families
Conduct patrols, escorts, entrance checks, and security monitoring
Document incidents and provide observations for care planning




Respond to fire, safety, security, and non-clinical emergencies
Requirements: Social Services Certificate or equivalent education, training, and experience
Basic Security Training level 1 and 2 Certificate
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to organize work and operate related equipment
Physical ability to carry out position duties
Bring trauma informed support, resident observation, de-escalation, and safety response skills to Central City Lodge in Comox.
