The Ministry of Highways seeks an Equipment Operator for the Weyburn Section within the Operation and Maintenance Division. You will help operate and maintain roads, highways, and airports. The work includes tandem trucks, motor graders, front-end loaders, snowplow systems, records, and basic computer tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain heavy equipment for summer and winter maintenance
Control plow, wing, and sander hydraulic systems during snowstorms
Conduct surveillance and maintenance supporting travelling public safety
Complete pre-trip inspections, operating records, and materials documentation




Manage email, timecards, and expense claims using basic computer skills
Requirements: Valid Class 1A licence and current driver abstract when requested
High situational awareness in changing operational conditions
Ability to make crucial decisions in all weather conditions
Ability to perform physical labour and heavy lifting
