Registered Pharmacist needed in Victoria, BC, for accurate dispensing and pharmaceutical patient care. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position.

Under the Pharmacy Manager’s direction, the Pharmacist verifies prescriptions, assesses medication administration, and dispenses critical medications. The role also supports palliative care prescriptions, drug deliveries, medication reviews, and resident care communication. Pharmacists collaborate with pharmacy teams while following applicable laws, standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense medication orders accurately, safely, timely, and completely
- Verify appropriate medication administration and assess critical medications
- Respond rapidly to palliative care prescriptions when required




- Arrange drug deliveries with the delivery team
- Maintain inventory and document medication review recommendations

Requirements:

- Current registration and good standing with British Columbia’s College of Pharmacists
- Pharmacist experience or recent graduation with current licensure
- Robust organization, planning, and time management skills
- Critical thinking, prioritization, and independent work abilities
- Availability for overnight on-call shifts every six weeks
