Lead CSA and UL cable qualification work at Nexans, connecting raw materials, manufacturing sites, and technical teams across North America.

As Materials & Qualification Specialist, you will report to the Engineering and Technical Director within the Engineering team. You will manage qualification projects, support raw material sourcing, review certifications, and provide technical guidance. The work connects commercial, supply chain, production, and engineering stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage CSA and UL qualification projects across manufacturing sites
- Review certifications for cables proposed by North American teams
- Evaluate and approve new raw material suppliers
- Monitor testing against specifications and applicable standards
- Provide technical advice to commercial and marketing teams

Requirements:

- Minimum five years of cable engineering experience
- Excellent knowledge of CSA and UL power cables
- Engineering or engineering technology degree
- Robust communication with customers, contractors, and management
- Willingness and ability to travel globally regularly
