Provide compassionate nursing care at AgeCare Mount Royal in Calgary as a casual Licensed Practical Nurse with medication and assessment expertise.
Reporting to the Director of Care, you will deliver resident-focused care within an interdisciplinary team. Your work includes maintaining assessments and documentation, coordinating care plans, educating residents and families, and supporting transitions. You will also administer medications and treatments while following legislation, policies, and scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to residents
Safely manage medications and narcotics
Educate residents and families about care plans
Coordinate plans with physicians and service providers
Support move-ins, discharges, and transfers
Requirements: Current Licensed Practical Nurse registration in applicable province
Senior care or long-term care experience preferred
Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
Solid time management and documentation skills
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Use nursing judgment, medication expertise, and resident education skills to support safe, respectful care at AgeCare Mount Royal.
