As an Equipment Associate, you will provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff, and branch personnel. Your work supports customer needs while maintaining rental equipment and branch readiness. Strong communication, teamwork, multitasking, and customer service skills are key.
Key Responsibilities: Check returned equipment for damage, hours, mileage, and fuel
Inspect safety decals, compliance, and equipment operating condition
Clean rental equipment and maintain an orderly work area
Load, unload, and prepare equipment for rental
Demonstrate equipment and drive delivery trucks for pickups
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Effective communication and strong teamwork skills
Diligent attention to safety
Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 pounds
Build equipment rental operations experience with United Rentals through inspections, preparation, customer service, and safe delivery support.
