The Workday Solutions Delivery Manager is accountable end to end for Workday solution delivery, resource management, and operational performance within the HCM Technology portfolio. The role owns execution across Program Increment (PI) delivery, Workday enhancements, AMS oversight, production support, resource capacity and allocation, continuous improvement, and small-to-medium Workday projects. As the primary technology delivery partner for Workday stakeholders, this leader is accountable not only for individual deliverables but also for making sure the right resources and skills are applied to the highest-priority work at the right time. The role combines solution ownership, delivery leadership, service management, and resource management, and remains accountable for outcomes whether work is performed by internal resources or strategic delivery partners. This is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports. The Workday Solutions Delivery Manager leads through influence, clear plans, transparent reporting,

and agreed accountability with internal teams, HCM Solution Managers, and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities
PI Planning & Delivery
* Own execution of Workday PI commitments within the assigned solution portfolio.
* Translate approved business priorities into executable delivery plans and resource requirements.
* Maintain the Workday delivery backlog so work is refined, estimated, prioritized, and sequenced.
* Establish achievable PI commitments based on priority, technical dependencies, and available capacity and capability; do not accept commitments without a realistic assessment of both.
* Coordinate functional, technical, integration, security, testing, and vendor resources required for delivery.
* Monitor execution against PI commitments and proactively address schedule, scope, dependency, capacity, or quality issues.
* Provide accurate delivery forecasts and regular reporting on committed versus completed scope, risks, trade-offs, and decisions required.
Resource Management, Capacity Planning & Allocation This is a core accountability of the role, not an administrative responsibility. The role directs the allocation of Workday delivery capacity without direct people-management responsibility.
* Own resource planning and allocation across Workday PI delivery, AMS, enhancements, technical debt, and small projects.
* Maintain an integrated view of Workday demand, available capacity, required skills, committed resources, utilization,

and upcoming demand.
* Allocate internal and partner resources based on business priorities, delivery commitments, operational risk, and required technical and functional skills, in coordination with resource owners.
* Balance capacity between planned PI delivery and BAU and production-support requirements.
* Identify capacity constraints, skill gaps, and resource conflicts before they affect delivery commitments; recommend prioritization, sequencing, scope adjustment, or incremental capacity when demand exceeds available resources.
* Partner with vendors so appropriate functional and technical capabilities are assigned to Workday technical deliverable, and challenge vendor staffing that does not meet agreed skill, quality, or performance expectations.
* Manage transitions, onboarding, knowledge transfer, and continuity for resources supporting the Workday service.
* Reduce dependency on individual resources through documentation, cross-training, and succession coverage.
* Provide resource and capacity forecasts as inputs to HCM portfolio and financial planning, and keep assignments aligned with funded capacity and approved portfolio priorities.
* Escalate structural capacity or capability gaps with explicit recommendations and business impact.
Workday AMS & Production Service Ownership
* Own day-to-day oversight of Workday AMS within the assigned portfolio.
* Ensure incidents, service requests, defects, and problems are prioritized, assigned, and resolved effectively.
* Manage ticket backlog, aging, SLA performance, recurring issues, and production risk.
* Ensure ServiceNow accurately reflects issue status, accountability, and resolution.
* Require root-cause analysis for significant or recurri
